One of the most impressive e-Commerce cosmetics website launched this year.
The website targets the international market and provides a rich buying experience with advanced capabilities, each localized into the various distribution locales and tightly coupled with leading social networks.

Introduction
Seacret is a cosmetics company that operates 1,000 points of sales around the world. Before it contacted cdtech, it already had a virtual store that functioned nicely.
The goal of the new e-Commerce website was to reinforce the chain’s online business and turn it into a more substantial profit channel, as well as to upgrade the online image the company presents to potential buyers.
The Challenge
The Seacret challenge was significant:
- Establishing an e-Commerce website for different geographical regions. The customer requested a website that would benefit from a centralized platform for managing all the virtual trade of the company, while adapting it to the locale of each user (geotargeting)
- Creating a complex coupons system that would provide a response to the consumption habits of each country
- Achieving a substantial improvement in the conversion rate and business results of the website
The Solution
Seacret’s new website was launched following a detailed planning of the user interface, data architecture, design and work processes. To obtain an optimum conversion rate and an excellent buying experience, a new design was created and some new and advanced features were implemented, among them:
- Advanced coupons system that enables the content manager, via a content-management system, to create different types of coupons, customized to the relevant distribution region.
- Display of related items for each product (“frequently bought together”).
- Segmentation of products according to components and smells, thus enabling visitors to adapt the product to their personal preferences.
- Implementation of various Web 2.0 modules, including a system of users reviews.
- Integration with Facebook, including display on the product’s page of the friends of Facebook users who liked the product.
- Full commercial adaptation to geographic region, including local currency, taxes, sales, ads, and more.
- Integration with other systems like Kampyle’s feedback system.
The Results
Immediately upon the launch of the new website and even before any marketing and promotional activities, there were significant results in the amount of sales on site, with transactions increasing significantly.
The Seacret project proves, once again, that investing in the specifications of the functionality and interfaces of an e-Commerce website returns the investment instantly.
